We had a great time here for 1 night. We really needed to get away from the city. The rain last night made it more romantic. We felt like we were rested and slept good =) Thank you and we’ll definitely be back.

Enjoyed a camping/hiking trip in the Black Hills with a a cold that is weighing me down. 90 degrees yesterday, tonight a low of 43 degrees so Wickiup to the rescue. One cabin available for a shower, a place to cook indoors and a nice cozy bed. Thank you! Enjoyed our respite here.

Stay here was wonderful!! Peaceful! Relaxing! Here with my love Renee. She had a wonderful time, her first trip out west. Like a little kid! My folks stayed in Timbertop on these same dates. 60th wedding anniversary for them. They are still riding their Harley at 80 years old. Thank you!!

Crazy Trip!! Slept in our car last night because Percy (our car) couldn’t make it through the flash flood stream to get to our tents and in the morning my mom found this cabin to stay in. I LOVE IT. This is our 2nd trip to Wickiup and the Black Hills. It has stolen my heart! We love the people here. The beauty that surrounds this place is good for the soul. These cabins are so cute and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking our meals and being here rather then going out to eat. Steaks on the grill and listening to the river - who could top that. We are definitely coming back! Love to all.

Riding real bikes (bicycles) from Michigan to the pacific. 1,500+ miles in so far. South Dakota has been beautiful since hitting the Badlands and the Mickelson Trail is on point.

Rode from Powell, WY here. Rain and sleet on Burgess Junction, intermittent rain all day. Beautiful morning 8/12. Rode Needles Highway. Rain after we got back to the cabin. Heading into Deadwood for a steak and some gambling. Friendly staff, cant beat that last trip to Sturgis 2013. Just us 2 gals friends. Blast so far. Thanks, had a great time!

Pre Rally running the beautiful Black Hills! OUTSTANDING August 4th was the best weather for riding. 1880 train was a real hoot. Spearfish Canyon repavement was beautiful. Thank you SD DOT. Took a neighbor from back in Missouri. It was his first trip to Sturgis, my 3rd. Tested new cameras and Rivco YETI cooler on the back of my 2006 Harley Road King. Great experience!!!!

Our group has this entire end: Highlander - Fargo/Aberdeen Vaux/Hoflers, Outpost - Watertown - Triplets, Timbertop - Aberdeen - Reeder's, Goldenwest - Belle Fouche - Stark/Karrels, Trailside - Denver - Evetts & Vaux. 6 dogs amoung us: Dachshund - Bichon - Maltese - Border Collie - Lab something - Lab. Can't match David R's poetry - quite nice! Huge booming thunderstorm Thursday night - on Friday pea sized hail in the afternoon - sun came out - steam rose - piney smell - great dinner!

We drove through Spearfish Canyon with no plans or reservations. God led us to this adorable little cabin and we've enjoyed every moment here! Awesome sense of community and family right away. What a beautiful hidden gem! :) We will definitely be back and recommend to others!

This was our first time here. We came for the Total Archery Challenge on Terry Peak. The cabin was wonderful! Just cozy enough and honestly felt homey to us. We absolutely love the Black Hills and try to come as often as we can. We will certainly be coming back to Wickiup!!! Loved it!!
